A more recent testimonial from May 2020:
James and I met once a week from January to April 2020. When James contacted me he was heart broken and unmotivated to complete his university course work. I had the pleasure of guiding him away from the path of self-sabotage into the path of self-fulfillment in only the span of 12 sessions. I am proud of him for his determination and participation in this process of transformation. Here is what he wrote to me following his completion of all his university requirements and having a peaceful closure conversation with his ex girl friend.
“When I first reached out to Hadas, I was in a rough spot, having trouble getting over someone and struggling at school; my self-esteem was at a nadir. Counseling and a medication schedule hadn’t done a great deal to help my particular situation, and I sought extra help mainly because I didn’t know what else to do. I booked my first session less because of a studied choice from available options, and more because Hadas was the first one who picked up that day.
I had expected sessions like the talk-therapy that you see in movies, where you talk about your problems and your dreams and your childhood for an hour, but that wasn’t what I got. Talking to Hadas felt more like talking to a friend than to a psychologist, because that’s what it was. It was always less of a session and more of a conversation, and it’s hard to overstate how reassuring it is talking to someone who you can not only trust, but who you know has talked to plenty of people in similar situations before.
Not so long ago I was in a very low place, and one that I was starting to wonder if I’d ever leave. Now I’m somewhere else: graduated, looking forward instead of only inward and downward, and proud of it. It’s always hard to draw lines of causality in life (and she would be the first to tell me to own my success!) but Hadas’ coaching was a big part of it and I am very glad for having had her help.
When I first went to google to seek professional help I was looking for a therapist, but what I had in mind wasn’t precisely what I needed; I needed a coach, and that was what I got. Hadas didn’t help me so much as she showed me how to help myself, and that’s why I’d recommend working with her to anyone in a present similar to my recent past.”
Hadas, what motivates you to be determined to help Learners who experience ADHD like challenges?
I believe that:
- Everyone deserves to and can experience successes, meaningful accomplishments, nurturing relationships, and fulfillment.
- Each individual has unique inner strengths they can learn to access to resolve stressful crises or relationship conflicts so they feel free to create their successes.
- The socio-cultural aspects of learning and development influence success as much as our genes.
Hadas, what are you teaching your clients so they sustain their wellbeing?
I teach:
- Mindfulness to shift perceptions from deficits to strengths
- Awareness of negative thinking
- Empathy and perspective taking
- Regulating mood
- Time-management and organizational skills
- Developing a focus on solutions to create successes
- Avoiding negative narratives that perpetuates problems
- Take pride in their family and culture

Hadas,
What makes you qualified to teach these therapeutic teachings for transforming stress to successes?
- Based on my Ph.D. research, I’m committed to and skilled in identifying strengths and nurturing growth rather than identifying deficits.
- As a school neuropsychologist I specialized in the learning brain, assessing cognitive weaknesses and strengths, and providing supports for developing social-emotional competency.
- I emphasize the importance of empathy and use of humour in social relationships based on my Master’s research and book.
- From my expertise with learning difficulties I know that most individuals can do well if they are provided with effective individualized and explicit guidance.
- I’ve been practicing and teaching various meditation techniques for over 20 years. Meditation, done correctly, is an effective mindfulness tool to mend the mind and connect with the heart so you can achieve:
- Emotional balance and clarity of mind needed for successes
- Functioning at your best based on your unique operating system
- Being attentive, alert, aware, and ready to successfully learn new skills
- Communicating with ease, respect, and empathy
- Conflict resolution skills
